This exhibition of art by Eric Pape includes many examples of Eric Pape´s book illustrations for "Notre Dame de Paris" by Victor Hugo, "Fairy Tales and Stories" by Hans Christian Andersen, "The Arabian Nights, Tales of Wonderand Magnificence" and "Shakespeare and the Heart of a Child" by Gertrude Slaughter, all unseen publicly since the artists' death in 1938.

In celebration of the restoration and conservation of the important society oil portrait “Gertrude Cawein” by Eric Pape, on loan from the Filson Historical Society of Louisville, Kentucky.

The rediscovery of Eric Pape’s works, which had been forgotten for decades in his locked Studio, led to learning about his artistic legacy. Eventually, this work culminates in the first official display of the artist’s works in more than 100 years in Zeven’s Königin-Christinen-Haus and Museum Kloster Zeven.

The breadth and significance of the artistic accomplishments of Federal Louis Moritz Pape is generally not well recognized today by those who appreciate the illustrator’s art.

An exhibition of rarely seen artworks by Gloucester resident Eric Pape (1870–1938) to commemorate the restoration of his mural in the Hammond Castle Museum “Wireless Naval Battle on Gloucester Bay”.

Pape, known in the press as “The Master of the Pageant,” had a lifelong working interest in the theatre and produced set and costume designs for on and off-Broadway theatrical productions.
